Tangled thread looking for a friend,

Tangled thread cannot find the hand,

That would complete the piece,

That would bring some peace.

Tangled thread flies in the air

Twirls around — where’s its perfect pair?

—

Wind untangled the thread

Thread now free that sings —

And cries alone in the stream…

No…no, this cannot be the end…

Don’t blame the thread, it is in pain!

Come, and catch it

Careful! don’t break it —

Hold it gently,

Complete it fully.
